Just watched Countdown with Keith Olbermann. The number one story was a recent photograph of Johnny Carson taken outside of a Malibu theater.

Johnny's 79, coming off heart surgery, has emphysemia and probably a few other physical maladies we don't know about because he's so private. Olbermann said the photo was disturbing. I noticed he looked old, he is 79, and has put on a bit of weght, I guess that's what happens when one can't lead the physical lifestyle to due to health reasons.

Sad, yes. Disturbing. No way.

I'm still trying to figure out of that second story about the gekko feet being used in nano technologies was for real.

Just checked, and yes it is. Story is about four years old. Way to be current.

Take the first sentence (or two to make it interesting) from the first entry of each month in 2004 and put it in a paragraph:

Blue Jackets coach Doug Mclean resigned as coach but remains the team's general manager. The halftime show sucked, even though it did appear that surprise guest Justin Timberlake exposed janet jackson's boob on live television. I was 17 out of 24. Not bad. I know I've lost because the adult services librarian got 18 out of 24. i was looking over the paper journal last weekend. the one that i rarely use these days. and i saw the sentence about opening up the 'hey ennui' bookstore. It has been a good day, despite the traffic and the insane drivers of the NYC metro area. thanks for your responses yesterday. When a population becomes distracted by trivia, when cultural life is redefined as a perpetual round of entertainments, when serious public conversation becomes a form of baby-talk, when , in short, people become an audience and their public business a vaudeville act, then a nation finds itself at risk; culture-death is a clear possiblity. How come none of you told me about Over The Rhine, huh? i was going to ask you guys who you thought won the debate. down by five in one league with curtis martin up against chris chambers. Dreamed of a plot to kidnap Princess Anne in the 60's.
