tis the season

i was assigned my fantasy football team last night. one of theose automatic online draft thingies since it's impossible to get everyone togethor for a live one.

already two guys are hurt. steve smith and jamal lewis. so i can't use them this week.

i do have carson palmer, and antonio gates. julius jones is my main back at this point. had to pick up joe jurevicius off the wire to have a decent receiver. andre johnson just doesn't cut it. does deuce mccallister have anything left? kurt warner is the backup quarterback. i have pittsburgh's defense. there are a couple of other players who need not be mentioned. i have no bills on the team and will probably keep it that way.

i like my kicker. shayne graham, three years straight.

how about those mets. kicking atlanta's ass yesterday. first time they've won the season series against them since 1997. 16.5 games up. i can safely saw they're goign to win the national league east. magic number is eight i think.

oh, and they have the best record in baseball.
