But my first thoughts on this went to, I wonder if Cornjob is a suspect.

And if you get my drift, thank you for being you o' kindred spirit :)

Jan Murray died today at the age of 89. He was all kinds of game shows and television shows.

Steve Yzerman retired after 22 years in the NH, all of them with the Detroit Red Wings. A class player who will be missed.

Sabres defenseman Jay McKee signed with St. Louis. Ryan Miller will now face at least ten more shots on goal per game.

The Sabres also lose Mike Grier, who signed with San Jose

Doug Weight, after winning the stanley cup with Carolina, goes back to St. Louis.

Chris Pronger was traded to the Ducks. Why does one leave a team for 'personal reasons'. Leaves a team that nearly won the cup this year. Could it be the big rumor he knocked up an Edmonton reporter?

Well maybe not!

well it was chris bradley's first night as the channel 10 weatherman and did he get a debut night to work on his new station. tornado watches, warnings, heavy rain, frogs falling from the sky, and will red white and boom be cancelled? dude, that's a audience of hundreds of thousands sitting in bicentennial park getting wet in the heat and humidity - you'd better get it right. no pressure new guy.

hell, they cancelled the cbs evening news for their team of weather people who told us that there was a gust of wind that was a whalloping 38 miles an hour in westerville.

hide your children in the basement, we're all gonna blow away!

but oh no, it's not about us. showing the same damn footage for about an hour. at least they had the decency to not break into jeopardy.

and no sign of boswell, the weather hound. for this. i am sad.

She dragged us down there. I'd say 'go where you want' and she took us
right into the teeth of the crowd. We got there so we didn't have to
wait too long, it was in a good spot.

Then, the band stopped, the speakers went to the live radio feed. It was
time for Red, White and Boom.

The first ones went off during the Star Spangled Banner. We seemed to be
so close to the fireworks that we could have reached up and taken them
from the air, if we wanted.

'This is so awesome,' she said, standing behind me. She put her arms
around my expanding middle, her chin on my shoulder and we watched the
show.

We weren't in the middle of a gathering of 500,000 people. There were
just the two of us. Our own performance.
